We have several wonderful rides options at the Balkan mountains in Bulgaria, each trail is different but all of the riding allows you to explore this wonderful country by horseback. There are several trails but also a based option suitable for children and non riders. For those interested in wildlife, panoramic views, local history and culture, monasteries, then this is the destination for you.
Bosko's Ranch and Croatian Culture, Croatia
A based ride in the Dalmatia county of Croatia. This ranch offers varied riding in the countryside and also tuition for younger or less experienced riders. Their riding school is excellent for children and they have well trained horses to take you out along the Cetina river and across the lovely landscapes. There is also the option of fascinating cultural excursions.
Brecon Beacons and Beyond, Wales
World class trail riding over the Brecon Beacons and beyond. These riding holidays are set in some of the most beautiful and undiscovered parts of Wales and fit, fine and sure-footed Welsh Cobs are the perfect mounts. Dalmatian Coast, Croatia
Here you will find stunning varied landscapes. Most areas are unspoilt and surrounded by small cultural villages, fields, pastures, mountains, lakes and rivers. Here there are two trails and a stationary programme to enjoy in this beautiful, almost untouched land, in two of the most stunning regions of Croatia. Here you can experience the hidden nature and treasured areas of Dalmatinska Zagora (the rural part inside of Dalmatia) and Lika (the continental part of Croatia). This is not a place for homely comforts or luxury, but you will find friendly people, fantastic horses and stunning riding.
Exmoor Farmhouse Getaway, England
With gates which open straight onto Exmoor National Park, this 17th century farmhouse is the perfect riding getaway. There is no road work here, just miles of open heather moorlands and a choice of well schooled and fun horses. Delicious farmhouse cuisine (afternoon tea and cakes!) and cosy accommodation offer a restful destination for a peaceful break.

This Moroccan ranch is run by two french ladies, Caroline and Caroline, and is situated between the ocean and mountains. This destination offers tuition and trail riding on their beautiful Arab-Barbs and guests can enjoy riding on the beach and along mountain trails. The accommodation is bright and comfortable and stays here are accompanied by traditional Moroccan meals and music. Riding here is exceptionally good value.

There is also a trail specifically designed for novice riders and those wishing to gain more confidence in the saddle. Carmine and Astrid are amazing hosts with responsive horses and their knowledge of this area is second to none.
