These activities allow visitors to get close to nature and to experience the possibilities given by Argentine countryside. The region has a subtropical climate- there are no temperatures below 0 degrees and rain can occur at any time of the year.
Each member of the team is an expert in their field and is trained to organise and guide their activity in a professional manner. You can go fishing in the famous Dorado, enjoy a polo match, live the intense countryman life, go horse riding and enjoy the country as an entertaining, relaxing and tradition-charged place.
Whilst offering a trail from Estancia to Estancia, which allows you to explore the amazing scenery Argentina has to offer, a stay at here also provides the opportunity to play polo or experience ranch work. This is the perfect place to share the life of a gaucho and to embrace his skills which are so important to Argentinian life. His lifetime of experience makes his knowledge of the land and horsemanship essential to life on the Estancia.
Here you will stay in a genuine Estancia where the accommodation provides a taste of authentic Argentinian lifestyle, complimented with the added twist of silver service waiters and luxurious comforts.
See Programmes.
The estancia built in the last century is typically Corrientes style with a low roof and wide terrace and is set in 2500 hectares and surrounded by eight hectares of gardens. The accommodation has been refurbished to a very high standard to provide comfort and hospitality for the guests.
To ensure that you get personal attention there are only seven rooms available, all with private bathrooms. There are two living rooms, one with a satellite TV. There is a swimming pool with solarium and a patio.
During the Estancia to Estancia trips you will stay in a variety of authentic Estancia's:
"Estancia La Amistad" - offers a colonial style and probably the most modern one on offer. A place where you can receive relaxing massages and great meals.
"Estancia Buena Vista" - A splendid colonial style house of the late XIX century. It offers premium comfortable accommodation to host you in superb suites with everything needed to enjoy the upper most comfort. It is located in one of the highest slopes of the area. You will enjoy a great service and comfortable rooms with wonderful view.
"Estancia La Teresita" - This is an old cattle ranch set in Malvina Norte, 70 kms away from Esquina. After it's main house burnt down and only a few antique pieces of furniture were saved, other facilities were recycled to form the new countryside house. It offers large rooms and the perfect mixture between rustic and new style.
The estancia has a reputation for high class gastronomy consisting of exquisite dishes served by white gloved waiters and perfectly accompanied by excellent Argentinian wines. Included in your package are wines, beers and non alcoholic beverages. There is a 24 hour coffee service.
Menus include a first course, main course and dessert. International, Creole and regional cooked meals are prepared with fresh local ingredients resulting in first class cuisine. Your dinner may be served in the moonlight or by candlelight.
A drink before meals is accompanied with local appetisers and exquisite Corrientes 'chipa' (special cheese bread) which will prepare you for the sumptuous culinary experience which follows. Special menus are available for those with specific dietary requirements.
On the 2500 hectares there is much ranch activity and cattle work including branding, vaccinations and herding the cows and horses. You can also experience riding in moonlight and take some lessons in polo.
There is a swimming pool and solarium to enjoy. Your hosts can arrange cooking lessons, casino nights, visits to horse races, carnivals and regional festivals. You can also have a massage. There is much wildlife in this area and birdwatching here is quite an experience. The fishing here is superb. Other activities include canoeing on the lake and sightseeing by boat. There are Jesuit ruins and the Iguazu Falls to visit.

This ride was designed for those who believe that horseback and comfort can come together in natural and beautiful scenery. This trail is aptly named after the Argentinian countrymen or "tropero" who, many years ago, herded cattle along the paths which stretch for many miles through Corrientes. At this time the horse was Argentina's most important working tool. The estancias encountered along the way provided the tropero with accommodation and a hearty meal. This trail allows you to follow the paths of the Tropero, cover the same diverse landscape and view the same breathtaking scenery with the welcome addition of luxury comforts and sumptuous cuisine. This trail leads you through the most diverse of landscapes including lagoons, forests, pampas, marshes, rivers and dunes.
