Argentina

A Latin American country laced with sophistication and vibrant culture, its name deriving from the Latin term 'argentum' meaning silver. Encompassing almost the entire southern half of South America, Argentina is the eighth largest country. Argentina is a nation with a strong history of horses which continues to this day.
Botswana

Acknowledged as one of the most successful, stable and peaceful African countries, Botswana is an unspoilt land of timeless beauty which is teeming with game and bird life. The delta is a water wilderness with its seasonal floodplains and offers a safe haven for wildlife. This rich and diverse habitat can be explored from the back of a horse and a safari here enables you to ride closeby to the huge variety of game that live here.
Bulgaria

Bulgaria is known mainly as a country with wonderful seasides and winter resorts, something which is definitely true. However, there is no comparison to the delight of discovering the energy and beauty of the mountains from horseback. The horse is the sacred animal of old Bulgarian culture and it is still the most natural sight amidst the Rhodopean forests and meadows.
Chile

Southern Patagonia in Chile is perfect riding country. Unhindered by fences, roads or urban development, horseback riders can canter for miles and miles across pampas, beneath towering granite peaks surrounded by the immense beauty of the southern ice cap. Around 14 miles away from the region of Split you can enjoy amazing and stunning Horse riding trails (horseback riding) along untouched natural treasures in the rural part inside Dalmatia (Dalmatinska Zagora) and the continental part of Croatia (Lika). These are suitable for all levels of riders.
Equestrian skills including riding and competing their horses are shared and enjoyed throughout Croatia, as well as breeding horses for sport, hunting and work, they have a very long tradition in the valleys of the Rivers Sava, Drava and Danube. Iceland

Iceland lies midway between North America and Europe and it borders the Artic Circle in the North. The scenery is stunning and variable with clean and fresh water, glaciers, mighty waterfalls, active volcanoes and lava deserts. Iceland is famous for its fantastic horses which have been bred there since the first settlers arrived some eleven hundred years ago.
India

Kenya

Mexico

Portugal has a special link with horses as it is considered by many to be the home of the wonderful Lusitano - a horse bred for its gentle nature and for being trained in classical dressage.

Sicily

Sicily is the largest and most important island in the Mediterranean. Its coasts are gold with orange and lemon orchards. In north eastern Sicily you'll find lush forests, whilst in the central regions you'll encounter rugged land and rolling hills. Dignified vineyards, ancient olive groves, hardy almond orchards and endless wheat fields complete the picture. A perfect place to ride.
Slovenia

The Republic of Slovenia lies at the heart of Europe, where the Alps face the Pannonian plains and the Mediterranean meets the mysterious Karst. To the north is Austria; Hungary is to the east; Croatia to the south and Italy to the west. The Slovenian coast of the Adriatic Sea, with its mild Mediterranean climate is a perfect getaway and only a couple of hours from Venice, Italy. In Slovenia, you can experience varied landscapes and amazing contrasts in the same day : a morning swim in the Adriatic, followed two hours later by skiing below Alpine peaks, then an adventurous discovery of Karst subterranean phenomena viewed perhaps from the back of the country's famous white Lipizzaner horse, or an invigorating bath in a thermal spring; an encounter with history in a lively mediaeval city and, not far away, a more solitary stroll through primeval forests or undulating, winegrowing hills.
South Africa

Rich in culture, history and wildlife, South Africa is found on the southern tip of the continent bordered by the Atlantic and Indian Ocean. Turkey spans two continents and boasts some 8000 km of coastline, Its diverse landscape with its valleys and mountains makes horse riding a unique experience.
USA

The home of the cowboy! Whether travelling solo or with your family, you will find ample ways to immerse yourself in the cowboy culture by staying at a working ranch. The ranches now invite 'greenhorns' in to see how the land and people have survived and how traditions have endured.
